Set Up SMS Integrations Easily with Make

The Make platform enables you to easily and quickly integrate various services and combine them in the ways that make sense for your business.

Without having written a single line of code before, it is possible for you to create every conceivable SMS integration between hundreds of apps, services and systems.

Maybe you want to send an SMS confirmation every time an appointment is booked? Or maybe you want to set up automatic SMS communication for webshop customers with order and delivery status? Or maybe you want to manage SMS broadcasts manually via Excel?

Make can help you with it all!

A fast-growing platform

Connecting services is a breeze with Make

Make is one of the fastest growing automation platforms on the market, which makes good sense considering they offer a user-friendly platform that is free to use as long as you run fewer than 1,000 tasks per month. In addition, Make offers high stability (99.99% uptime) as well as high security.

With the hundreds of apps and services that have been added to Make so far, such as Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, CRM systems, billing systems, spreadsheets and email clients, there is a good chance that you will find the systems, services or apps you already use in your organization.

The available apps in Make are built around so-called triggers and actions. They can be described as a series of complex functions, which are incredibly easy to connect across different apps because of the way Make has been designed.

An example of a trigger is that a package is ready to be delivered from a Shopify webshop, which is intercepted by the Shopify app in Make, after which an action is carried out. In this case the app dispatches an SMS via GatewayAPI to the customer.

How to get started

Set up SMS integrations

If you have not already done so, first create a GatewayAPI account. Afterwards, create a Make account.

Once the accounts are created, you can set up your first integrations by following the steps in the guides below.

  • Go to your Make account
  • Go to “scenarios” in the menu on the left
  • Click on “create a new scenario”
  • Search for GatewayAPI
  • When you set up the app, you will be asked for your unique GatewayAPI key, which you can find on your GatewayAPI dashboard under ‘API keys’ and ‘Token’.
  • Now you are ready to get started setting up SMS integrations and automations with your favorite services.
  • You can also select the templates we have created, which you can see below.
